Extra Special

A mother’s nice,
I will agree;
But seems to me
A dad’s an extra special
Somebody……….
An extra special relative
A kid can’t hardly live
Without!
He’s a good scout.
He’ll laugh and shout,
And stage a friendly
Tumbling bout;
Whistles and sings!
There’s lots of poems
Tellin’ things
That mothers do for kids.
Poetry ’bout them spills out
As swift as birds.
I guess the way a kid
Feels ’bout his dad’s
Too deep for words!
